Today we will be saying a fond farewell to David Bullock who has been the City Crier for over 30 years. There will be afternoon tea with the Lord Mayor and other invited guests  at City Hall. David will be presented with a certificate from the City Council and also one from the Ancient and Honourable Guild of Town Criers. He will then present me with the Civic stave and I will make a cry from the steps of the City Hall to accept my appointment as the new City Crier.
